Delivered a global brand film spanning five countries in ten days, capturing Toshiba’s multi-sector innovation through a streamlined international production model.

Client & Context

Toshiba operates at scale across energy, infrastructure, digital systems, and advanced manufacturing. The brief was to create a single, cohesive film that reflected this breadth without feeling fragmented.

The film needed to represent complex industries with clarity and confidence, while maintaining a consistent visual language across international locations.

It was important that the final piece felt considered and unified — not a collection of disconnected segments.

The Challenge

Producing a film of this scope within a condensed timeframe required careful
planning and disciplined execution.

Key considerations included:

  • Representing multiple sectors within one cohesive story
  • Filming across five international territories
  • Delivering production within a 10-day schedule
  • Maintaining consistent high-end production quality across varied environments
  • Operating with a highly compact on-location crew
  • Ensuring minimal disruption to active industrial environments

The ambition was to create something expansive in feel, without unnecessary scale in production.

Our Approach

A Structured Narrative

We developed a clear narrative framework that allowed each sector to contribute to a wider story. Rather than isolating divisions, the film was structured to move fluidly between them, revealing how they collectively form part of a larger global picture.

This approach ensured cohesion while allowing each environment to retain its character.

A Considered International Production Model

With over two decades of experience working internationally, we understand the value of preparation.

A two-person core crew was deployed across all territories, working closely alongside the client. This kept the footprint minimal, allowed for flexibility within active environments, and ensured continuity in both technical execution and creative intent.

Maintaining consistency across multiple countries was achieved through careful pre-production planning and a disciplined approach to cinematography.

Built for Longevity

From the outset, the production was designed to deliver more than a single film.
In addition to the 8-minute headline piece, we created a series of cutdowns and alternative versions, enabling Toshiba to utilise the material across platforms and internal communications.

Capturing modular content during principal photography ensured the project remained efficient while extending its long-term value.
